We’re more than happy to take onboard feedback on this Blueprint. You know your brand better than anyone, so we’re all ears. 

However, one tip - assigning a lead in charge of music allows us to edit playlists based on one sense of direction, rather than multiple. We often find that designing playlists by committee can lead to a mixed result, or even worse, a generic one.

Going live.

As much as we like to think we do, as people, we don’t think how we feel, say what we think, or do what we say. So, it’s best that we review your playlists based on customer experience through observation, staff feedback, and music usage data. 

Along with site visits by Startle, we ask that you observe your customers to see if they are responding positively (or negatively). In the least creepy way possible, of course.

Continuous improvement.

Our playlists are updated monthly and reviewed quarterly. In addition to regular check-ins, we advise a get-together every so often just to talk music. Brands are like people and change from time to time, so it's important that music reflects that change.
