As one of our resident music geniuses, he combines his deep understanding of the emotional and psychological impact of music with strategic brand management skills.
Over the past 12 years, James has immersed himself in the world of music. He has managed the music content for a variety of brands, always driven by a curiosity into how sound influences human behavior. In 2022, his dedication and expertise led him to the role of Creative Director at Startle, where he now leads the charge in shaping the musical landscape for our clients.
In his role, James is responsible for producing and executing our music output, ensuring every track, playlist, and sonic touchpoint aligns seamlessly with brand identities and customer expectations. He collaborates closely with businesses to build meaningful relationships and craft bespoke audio identities that enhance their brand experience. His meticulous attention to detail and passion for music ensure that everything sounds, feels, and performs just right.
Outside of work, James enjoys unwinding with long dog walks, diving into a good book, and lifting weights. He also dabbles in music production in his free time, keeping his creative spark alive beyond the office.
